One sleepless night, anxiety about being separated from my loved ones overwhelmed me. Amidst these struggles, I grappled with negative thoughts about my health, fearing a limited time on this planet and pondering how my loved ones would cope without me. As a devoted parent, responsibility for my child’s well-being often feels all-encompassing; she consistently seeks comfort and support from me.
Realization
Realizing that to be there for my daughter as she grows, I need to take care of myself, I decided to start a fitness journey. I made changes like giving up late-night Netflix for early bedtimes and waking up early. My motivation is to have more healthy and happy years with my daughter. As women, we often focus on our family’s needs over our health.
Healthy lifestyle choices like early morning walks, eating breakfast early, and evening walks have shown positive results for me. I believe only a child can inspire a mother to overcome her inhibitions. I consciously give myself time by incorporating hobbies into my routine, like writing, crafting, playing games, and painting with my daughter. Engaging in activities you love is a great way to manage stress.

As women, we can be sentimental and emotional, and sometimes these qualities can interfere with decision-making. To live a fulfilling life, prioritize health and career. Neglecting these areas leads to internal conflict and frustration. Make practical choices that bring happiness and fulfillment, not stress and chaos.
It’s often said that loving oneself is the least important thing for a woman. Without self-love, it’s challenging to love others. Treat yourself to things that make you feel good. As Winston Churchill said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” Women are powerful beings, and their smiles can light up a family. In households, maintaining peace by resolving loved ones’ issues is common. Your parents, spouse, or children only want you to be happy and content.
